DEATH BEAT is a horror infused post punk band hailing from underground Borås. Though the band is fairly new to the scene the band members have been active in numeral bands the past fifteen years and played venues all over Europe.
With songs about blood sucking beasts and other vile creatures the band brings a rebellious and high-octane show to the stage that could make the most fearless horror connoisseur shiver.
STORY
Where does the band name DEATH BEAT originate from? Is it the brutal act of beating someone to death? most likely not. Or the final heartbeat of a dying cowboy? Some say it’s the ticking of a nuclear bomb ready to blow the world to pieces. Or is it just a word play aimed at the deadbeat nature of the band members?

What we do know is that when the knife sharp guitar mixes with the ear deafening bass, the machine like pounding of the drums and the disillusioned vocals preaching about snake faced outsiders and other foul beasts, something very strange happens, a cacaphonic symphony, best described as DEATH BEAT.
